On Sunday, February 12, 2012, at 1:00 PM at the statue of Abraham Lincoln at the entrance of Lincoln Park, Kennedy Boulevard and Belmont Avenue in Jersey City, Association Vice President Mr. Sean Connolly, Esq. will host the monument ceremony.  Dr. Jules Ladenheim, a Past President of the Lincoln Association, will recite a selected letter or speech of President Lincoln. The ceremony will conclude with a placing of a wreath at the monument and light reftreshments will be served Later that evening at 4:00 PM, the Association will host the One Hundred Forty-Sixth Annual Dinner at the Casino in the Park, Lincoln Park, Jersey City. The featured speaker is Mr. Thomas J. Craughwell, author of "Stealing Lincoln's Body". The evening also will have another of Lincoln's orations delivered by Past President Dr. Jules Ladenheim. Period music will be provided by the Libby Prison Minstrels. Subscription price is $65. If you pay at the door and have not made a reservation by email, it is $75 Attendance at our annual dinner on February 12 is sufficient to confer membership in the Association. The Association, however, is eager for the participation of Lincoln enthusiasts in planning and conducting administrative, educational, and other outreach programs.
